During our three-day visit to Seville, we ate out every day. The Andalusian cuisine was impossible to resist and mind-blowingly good. As a result of that, I was left with so many photos of great restaurants. Whether you’re looking for amazing tapas bars or cool brunch places, you’ll find them here. As a pescatarian, I was in seafood heaven while in Spain. However, some vegetarian tapas, like fried goat cheese with honey took us by surprise and we adored them. Without further ado, these are some of the best restaurants in Seville!

La Bartola

Calle San Jose 24, 41004 Seville

The first restaurant we tried out in Seville, La Bartola was a great choice. The seafood tapas were delicious and there were plenty of good vegetarian and vegan options. In fact, they even offer gluten-free dishes! The prices were more than decent, especially considering how amazing and varied the food was. And the food just kept coming and coming! I know that’s how tapas dishes work but they were being delivered before we had finished the previous course. Overall, La Bartola is one of the best restaurants in Seville!

Bar Catedral Sevilla

Calle Mateos Gago 5, 41004 Seville

It’s hard to pick a favorite restaurant in Seville but it might just be this tapas bar. Situated inside a building from 1923, Bar Catedral Sevilla completely won us over. As its name suggests, it’s not too far from the magnificent cathedral. The service was excellent, the menu was broad, and the food was utterly divine. We ordered so many tapas that we joked about with a couple sitting next to us! But it was impossible to resist some of the tapas with unique recipes. I still reminisce on those squid ink bao buns with prawns and aioli sauce, it was spectacular! Usually, I’m wary of restaurants in the city center but Bar Catedral Sevilla was magnificent. I don’t have a single complaint about it!

Filo

Calle Hernando Colón, 19, 41004 Seville

Our lunches usually happened in brunch places so I decided to include them here as well. Filo was a quick decision when looking for food on an extremely hot day. This brunch spot had good reviews so we decided to give it a shot. I’ll never forget the experience we had here because of a forgotten order. My friend had ordered a sandwich and somehow, due to the rush wasn’t served for 15 minutes. The staff not only promptly corrected that but they gave her a free juice and a box of homemade biscuits to apologize. They truly went out of their way to say sorry and leave their customers pleased!

Billy Brunch Sevilla

Calle Pedro del Toro, 12, 41001 Seville

The very first place we visited upon arriving in Seville, Billy Brunch Sevilla was on the way to our Airbnb. It’s a great brunch place with lots of different savory and sweet dishes. Ranging from your classic continental breakfasts to healthy toasts and pancakes, there’s something for everyone! They source their products from local farmers which is admirable. Overall, a great place for breakfast or lunch!

Confitería La Campana

Not a restaurant or a brunch place but a historical bakery, Confitería La Campana is worth a visit. They’ve been making various traditional pastries since 1885! Housed inside an Art Deco building, it’s regarded as the best pastry shop in Seville. You can take pastries to-go or have breakfast on the terrace. Your only problem here will be picking which pastry to try because there are so many tempting choices!

La Terraza de EME

Calle Alemanes, 27, 41004 Seville

My last recommendation doesn’t exactly cover restaurants in Seville but what you might do after dinner instead. La Terraza de EME is a chic rooftop bar with a magnificent view of the cathedral and Giralda, its bell tower. You’ll find it on top of the Hotel EME Catedral Mercer. We sat here for drinks after sundown and couldn’t get enough of Seville at night spreading under our feet. My strawberry-infused mocktail was delicious! The service was also wonderful and the whole outing felt like an evening of pampering!
